2025 Festivus Celebration
Our Festivus gathering on January 11, 2025, was a great success! About 40 Toronto area attendees came together to enjoy a delicious feast, share plenty of laughs, and engage in lively conversations.
The Festivus pole was adorned with the following creative contributions of grievances and gratitude:
I'm grateful to realize there is so much to be grateful for! It really helps combat the "blah" times.
Grievance - Still no Eglinton Subway - ghost stations.
I'm grateful for family, health and my plentiful life. May we have less drivel and petty aggravation!
Grateful for my cute cat! Grieving: He screams all the freaking time!
Grateful for transitioning. Not grateful for transphobia in the world.
Grateful for rational and generous people (Humanist or otherwise)
Grateful for Good food, health and harmony. Clear thinking too.
Grieving: Intelligent Design Fraud
Grateful for HAT! My Grievance: It's too cold!
We also held thought-provoking brainstorming sessions to explore fresh ways for HAT to strengthen its connection with our community.
A special thank you to Michelle Edmunds for graciously hosting the event and to everyone who helped with the setup and organization—your efforts made it all possible!
Wishing you all the best for 2025!
